Myself and all the friends in my neighbourhood are members of The Linguist online community of language learners. Right now you can learn English at The Linguist and soon you will be able to learn other languages. All you need to learn a new language is the language itself, some friends and the right method!

Hi, I'm Mayumi who had a one-on-one lesson with you at one hour after midnight(in Japan).
Thank you for giving a great time to me.

I'm going to be a "premium member". I'm sure that The Linguist is very helpful to improve my English skills.

I recommend The Linguist to anyone who hesitates to join an on-line lesson. I used to feel so, but I realized that I could enjoy the conversation lessons in The Linguist at the moment.

I'm glad I helped you feel comfortable. You spoke very well and you will get better and better all the time. You should try to find more Linguist members to add to your friend list. Take a look in my neighbours list to find a list. This way you will be able to see all of our posts, many of which are restricted to friends or neighbours.

Wow! I've just spent a lot of time reading Steve Kaufmann's blog and listening to a few podcasts. I am in the process of learning French and without knowing it was using many of the ideas behind the linguist. I hope that French is added to the Linguist service someday because I will be the first to sign up!
